Hello all
Adam was kind enough to allow me to fly the Libra C class glider today at Mavoe hama
I have about 2 years in the air with 260 flights, current glider epsilon 5 DHV 1-2 B
Time of day, 1 pm, active thermal air wind around 25 kmh, 15 minutes flight
First impression: Easy inflation, stable glider comper to my Epsilon (maybe more), tighter turns, meaningfull better glide than my glider, nice brakes, easy faster landing
Not so good: My nervousness from flying an advance glider made me mentally tense and waiting for disaster to strike at any moment
Didn't feel good: a couple of thermals that picked up one side more violently than I am used to and I felt weightless in my harness for a millisecond, Per Adam this happens in all advance long and narrow) gliders since the moment is further out from the wing center)
I didn't test Big ears or speed system, or did any maneuvers
Finally, based only on todays flight, If someone would have told me that it is a class B glider I probably would have bought one
