The crash occurred on 2012-09-17 at Col Rondella in the Dolomites. The kite pilot could not stop the rotation. You can see that he has thrown relatively early stage the rescue, but this is imposed in the area and does not open. According to his statement he was fortunately caught by the trees just before impact on the ground and was not hurt. As the impact of the wing was in my right rear protector, I also came without any Blessur (except in my head) thereof.
Meanwhile, I've even seen the video again and again to find out the causes. In particular I was interested in it, even if I've made mistakes or could have prevented the crash. To this end, I would note the following:
- The airspace was pretty full, because the thermals was not yet widespread, and many pilots were unable on "House beard" Remove. Unfortunately this is observed in dense air traffic in the Dolomites to then again that individual pilots can not care about the direction of rotation of all the other (this time to the right) draw, but your stubborn circles in the opposite direction. Even if one wants to move away quickly from the grid, you have to cope with this chaotic throng, possibly also to gain too little up before departure.
- The helmet

The crash could have fatal consequences for both sides in slightly different terms. After discussions with flying friends I have now formed a preliminary opinion.
